ODRON
Set up in an apartment formerly used as a safe-house for LGBTQ+ youth and office for human rights organizations, ODRON has been organizing exhibitions for unestablished young artists and students, open jam sessions that draw young musicians from different cities and disturb the neighbors, screenings of local cinematic gems, discussions, presentations, and more. We even drew the ire of a departing political figure after weighing in on a burning question for local politics with a public performance in 2020. The collective is completely independent, and tries to accomplish the impossible on a shoestring budget. We're dedicated to the anti-capitalist notions of art for art's sake, justice for our sake, and helping out our community (be it our neighborhood, ex Yugoslavia, or the world).
