Peace In Action

Peace in Action is an educational firm providing workshops, classes and programs to help our clients create workplaces and study spaces that are more open, civil, welcoming, and inclusive. We are two university professors who create and deliver curriculum and material intended to create a safe space to be educated and talk about racism, sexism and LGBT issues. Peace in Action works to see everyone become kinder, and more understanding towards each other in healthier work or school environments. We build bridges between the confusion of hate and the clarity of acceptance for people to become more productive and successful through workshops or classes, whether virtual or in-person. We provide support for public and private organizations and groups across the state of New Jersey looking to improve teamwork, foster collaboration and drive improved productivity. We work with organizations who want to engage with their members on diversity related issues. We also work with organizations who are challenged with teams that have difficulty dealing with members who have different experiences and backgrounds, or teams that have increased workplace tensions because of diversity-related concerns. We offer consulting services to support management teams and enable them to create the type of environment that overcomes conflict driven by diversity issues and results in improved productivity and learning. We provide "off the shelf" training and educational courses as well as customized learning sessions on a broad variety of topics related to inclusiveness and acceptance.
