Pikes Peak State College
Pikes Peak State College (PPSC) is a public higher education institution located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is the largest postsecondary institution in the Pikes Peak region and was established in 1968. Originally named El Paso Community College, it rebranded in 2022 to reflect its expanded academic offerings, including four-year degree programs. PPSC operates four campuses: the Centennial Campus, which focuses on business and social sciences; the Rampart Range Campus, dedicated to STEM programs; the CHES Campus, which specializes in healthcare education; and the Downtown Studio Campus, a center for fine arts and humanities. The college offers over 200 certificate and degree programs, including associate degrees and career and technical education in fields like healthcare and emergency medical services. PPSC also provides military satellite locations and a distance education program, making higher education accessible to a diverse range of students, including traditional and non-traditional learners.
