Project 507

Many of society's systems generate violence and perpetuate cycles of trauma. Project 507 was established in reaction to the harm this causes within the criminal justice system. We have since grown to tackle systemic violence more broadly. Our vision is for a society in which violent systems are replaced by ones that produce social justice. Project 507's mission is to contribute to the transformation of systems that generate violence and perpetuate cycles of trauma so that fewer people are harmed. We do this by: - Delivering violence reduction programmes for young people affected by violence - Providing training, resources, reflective practice and support for professionals, leaders and decision-makers - Publishing research and consulting with policymakers At Project 507 we value and nurture behaviours, skills and qualities that: - Take a reflective, therapeutic approach - Focus on systemic change - Demonstrate authenticity and integrity
