Autonomous Valet Parking (AVP) is a feature which will be provided by automakers and infrastructure operators soon. It gives the end customer the ability to maximize their convenience while parking their autonomous vehicles. The driver will just need to get off the vehicle at the entrance of the parking area, close the doors, and press a button. The virtual Valet will provide any other information needed to guide the vehicle through the parking area to its parking spot.
