PT Pazolle'e Eco Lodge
Pazolle'e is located in Waecicu Bay, away from the hustle-and-bustle in Labuan Bajo and still conveniently close. The villa and two bungalows are right on the beach, nestled on 4300 mt private grounds. Pazolle'e is a great starting point for day trips into the Komodo National Park to see the famous Komodo dragon, explore the reefs, hike on the hills behind or simply relax by the beach in front. Pazolle'e has been designed to fit the surrounding landscape. Materials native to the surrounding area were used for construction: palm wood, stones from our own land and Alang Alang (a long grass harvested from Seraya Island). Pazolle'e was build by Flores carpenters and masons and has been modeled after traditional Flores houses. Furniture is made of driftwood which was found on deserted beaches at outlying islands or which washed ashore at Waecicu bay. The villa's and bungalows are a perfect fit in their natural surroundings: the almost empty beach, the Flores Sea and the lush hills behind. This is the ultimate island getaway. Pazolle'e means 'clean' in Bajo - the language of Indonesian sea gypsies - and Wae Cicu means ' clean water' in the Manggarai language. It's true. The water in our bay is crystal clear.
