Enjoy the most spectacular view of the river, right, and the wide view over the fields stretching into the foothills of The Dales. The great outdoors of Yorkshire are on your doorstep, and lovely market towns are a stone's throw away. Riverdale Lodges is a place for nature lovers to retreat and watch the birds or the deer that live on the riverbank just opposite the lodges. A perfect spot for couples who like to have a bit more space around them as all our units are a standard 6-berth. It is a place for families to relax, with lots of space and for the kids. It is strategically located between The Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors and the ideal base to start a new adventure every day, with all the highlights of Yorkshire within easy reach. The Lodges are built from sustainable Larch. The Safari Tents are made of the best canvas (TenCate). We rent out the units for midweeks, weekends and weeks. The Lodges have bird names: Oystercatcher, Kingfisher, Curlew, Lapwing and the Safari Tents are called Mayfly (6p), Dragonfly (6p), Damselfly (8p) and Butterfly (8p). The new Safari Tents have a log burner, electric heater, down duvets/pillows, electric blankets. So, yes, we are prepared to welcome you also when the weather is a bit colder. Outside you will find a bespoke fire pit and a gas BBQ.
