Science South, Inc. is a woman-owned company dedicated to providing cutting edge developmental expertise in the fields of materials engineering and software development. We began in the plastic products manufacturing industry, which gave us the manufacturing ethic: "make it right the first time, make it quickly, and make it at a competitive price." Defense Industry: We developed advanced materials systems for weapon components - polymer and ceramic functional components, and we have issued patents relating to novel materials for gun and ammunition systems. Our research extends from armor and munitions to secure software and diamond nanodevice fabrication. Jewelry Industry: We invented and patented the method and apparatus for making diamonds at low pressure and low temperature, and also the way to create diamond "plating" on objects. We make tooling for resin and metal jewelry fabrication, and can create prototype production for your market testing. For high speed production of precision metal parts we can either create stamping dies or molds for Metal Injection Molding (MIM) precious metals.
