Women run more than 65% of the businesses in Cambodia, however most of those businesses are informal and micro- sized; we want to change this. SHE (Support Her Enterprise) works with women in Cambodia who have micro-businesses, to support them in scaling their enterprises above micro-size, to create social and economic impact for communities. Our goal is a gender balance in the Social and Medium Entreprises (SME) sector: more women running larger businesses. SHE is a social enterprise based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, delivering the only gender-focused and culturally tailored business development programs for women in Cambodia. What we do: SHE provides women with access to the tools, resources and support they need to overcome gender-specific barriers in scaling an enterprise to be sustainable and impactful. Our key areas of work include: - The SHE Incubator Program: A 6-month training and mentoring program for women with early-stage and micro-sized informal businesses - The SHE Accelerator Program: A 5-month training and mentoring program for women with small and growing businesses - Community Incubator: micro-enterprise training for village based businesses. - Thriive Cambodia: 0% interest loans up to $10k to scale businesses and create jobs + social impact. - Ngeay Ngeay: Cambodia's first open-source business registration & information website (www.ngeayngeay.co) Our impact: - Average graduate business increases their monthly revenue by 155% - 100 women-led businesses are contributing an additional AUD $1 million to Cambodia's economy every year - Average graduate business increases household savings by 69%, and decreased debt by 129%
