SolEd is organized as a Benefit Corporation under California's new flexible purpose corporation law, and is obligated to deliver a general public benefit and the maximum feasible savings to schools before considering shareholder value. This allows us to leverage tax incentives and private debt, while passing the maximum benefit to the client, providing schools with stable, declining energy costs.
