St1 is a leading company in the Nordic oil and energy sector. With a broad range of products and services, we offer fuels, convenience products and car wash through 1,500 St1 and Shell service stations, and we sell fossil and renewable liquid fuels to the businesses in the industrial, marine and transport sectors. In 2015, St1 Nordic acquired Shell's downstream business in Norway from the global Shell group. St1 therefore operates over 400 Shell service stations across through country through a trademark licence from Shell. St1 is a Finnish energy company that challenges the conventional. Our vision is to be the leading producer and seller of CO2-aware energy. So far, St1 has bioethanol plants in Finland and Sweden, an oil refinery in Sweden and service stations in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Our strong performance in the traditional oil business enables us to invest in the future and to build a solid foundation for realising our vision through renewable energy. We are already recycling waste for fuel and using wind power to produce electricity. In the spirit of our vision, each of our solutions must be technically and economically feasible and ecologically sustainable – today.
