Inspired and derived from the Tarntipi homelands on the Tiwi islands, the Tarntipi Group (TGC) is a national group of companies engaged in the socio-economic advancement across the Indigenous landscape. Our mission is clear: By 2030 we will have empowered 1,000 Indigenous families, Australia wide to holistically break the cycle of generational welfare dependency. Through our fully integrated business model including; profit for purpose and not for profit entities, we provide turnkey solutions that not only empowers people to achieve but creates change where it is needed. Centre to our logo is the Yirrikipayi totem, sand and sunsets on Tarntipi beach. Yirrikipayi is a Tiwi word meaning salt-water crocodile. The Yirrikipayi holds great cultural significance for the Tiwi people. It is one of many dreamings or totems, inherited through the father. With a dreaming or totem comes responsibilities, passed down from birth.
