Tata BlueScope Steel

Tata BlueScope Steel is an equal joint venture between Tata Steel and BlueScope Steel in the field of coated steel, steel building solutions and related building products. The Company operates in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Tata BlueScope Steel has three businesses: Coated Steel, Building Products & Building Solutions. The company has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Jamshedpur, Pune, Chennai & Bhiwadi. Coated Steel division has a metallic coating capacity of 250,000 tons per annum and colour coating capacity of 150,000 tons per annum. Coated Steel division manufactures and supplies 55% Al-Zn Alloy coated ZINCALUME® steel and pre-painted COLORBOND® steel for building and construction industry. These products are manufactured at Jamshedpur plant. This division recently launched THERMATECH™ a solar reflectance technology in COLORBOND® Steel. The Building Products division manufactures and supplies roll-formed roof and wall-cladding solutions as well as light gauge PEB structures. Primary product offerings include LYSAGHT® range of roof & wall cladding profiles and structural products, especially catering to the B2B market. Till March 2016, LYSAGHT® has successfully completed 20 million sq. mts. of cladding in just 10 years in India, a feather in the cap for a 150 year old global Brand. The retail distribution of roof and wall cladding sheets is done under its DURASHINE® brand and Light Structural Solutions under its EZYBUILD® Solutions. DURASHINE® was nominated as Asia's Most Promising Brand 2013-14 by KPMG India . It has also been nominated as India's No. 1 Brand in the category of colour coated sheets by the International Brand Consulting Corporation, USA. The Building Solutions division manufactures and supplies pre-engineered building solutions Its premium brands are BUTLER® BUILDING SYSTEMS and ECOBUILD™ BUILDING SYSTEMS.
