Team PreReg

Team PreReg was set up by four pharmacists in February 2015. As recently qualified pharmacists, all from different teaching backgrounds with different learning styles, we embarked upon a journey to assist the future generation in the best way possible to pass the pre-registration examination. Not only this, but to develop their learning throughout the year through targeting different areas of the syllabus and preparing students fully before the all-important examination. After helping over 50 students in the first few months of launch we began to create numerous resources, including our best-selling ‘Syllabus Cruncher'. In turn all these resources helped students prepare fully for the GPhC examination. In October 2015, we exhibited at the Pharmacy Show and had a massive interest in our resources. With our revamped Syllabus Cruncher and new resources such as our Registration Question Book, Competency Guide and unique Calculations Club Resources we signed up over 150 students in two days. Today we are assisting over 500 students and supporting their learning in the run up to the new style examination. We are also proud to be supporting the Pre-Reg Programme of both Day Lewis & PillBox Chemists. Our journey now is to continue what we are already doing and provide more events and teaching to students. Our first event will be our Pre-Registration Crash Course in London on the 3rd April 2016 and 9th April 2016 in Leicester. We will be joined by Marvin Munzu, Ravi Sharma and Pharmacist Support at these events and are delighted to have the support of many individuals. Our next project will be to support Pharmacy in Practice (www.pharmacyinpractice.org) as their pre-registration training partner, so be sure to look out on here for our regular updates. We will be focusing on revision techniques, clinical knowledge, and calculations and are very excited to be supporting more and more students!
