As RenewCO2, we believe in formic acid as a carbon capture utilization solution to the current carbon dioxide problem. Therefore, team RenewCO2 is developing a system that converts carbon dioxide, a waste product, into formic acid by using electrolysis. This valuable and harmless chemical can be used as a safe hydrogen carrier and thus can be used to create electricity. The core mission of Renew CO2 is therefore to facilitate the sustainable utilization of carbon dioxide. Currently we are a team of 5 members representing various faculties of the TU/e!
