We create value for the advancement of health research by establishing synergies in innovative and collaborative partnerships between the public and private sectors. This implies participation in the project management aspects related to the conception, launch, implementation and sustainability of multi-stakeholder projects, mainly linked to information technology and biomedical research, including drug design and development and post-marketing surveillance. Going hand in hand with project management, we offer a wide range of services which include support in investigation and innovation, sustainability plans of research results and knowledge transfer. At TEAM IT we aim to bridge the differences that can occur in public-private partnerships by supporting with best practices and knowledge management gained from our team members in managing European projects for more than 20 years. Our primary focus are projects financed by the European Commission's agency IMI (Innovative Medicines Initiative). We are also involved in the preparation of competitive proposals for new calls and carries out training in project management and in European projects for a number of public and private institutions. TEAM IT is the Honest Broker of the EU-ADR Alliance, a collaboration framework resulting from the FP7 project EU-ADR - Exploring and Understanding Adverse Drug Reactions by Integrative Mining of Clinical Records and Biomedical Knowledge. The EU-ADR Alliance conducts observational studies with the highest standards in observational research using multi-database approach with routinely collected data and advanced technology to answer pharmacoepidemiological and drug safety questions using real world data.
