Teijin Automotive Technologies Portugal has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive industry. At the beginning, we produced sheet metal components as Inapal,S.A. on our first, and still in function, Plant and Headquarters at Leça do Balio. Then, in the 80's, we started to produce SMC, GMT and G-LFT components. On the first decade of this century, we started to use the D-LFT technology and also started to produce Class A SMC components in the then new Palmela Plant. At the moment, the two manufacturing units, the Leça do Balio Plant in the north of Portugal and the Palmela Plant in the south, inside the VW Autoeuropa industrial park, are both equipped with modern equipment, which we highlight the two fully automated SMC production lines and the two D-LFT fully automated production lines as well. Once our focus is the automotive and industrial businesses, producing body modules, structural and technical products, the list of our clients is extensive and all over the world, delivering Portuguese high quality products and technology to Europe, North and South America and Asia. Our knowledge and experience in the field of composites and plastics allowed us to stay on the market as a preferred supplier for the biggest automotive and industrial OEMs.
