The Chartered Banker Institute is the largest professional membership body for bankers in the UK, with more than 30,000 members, our student membership continues to grow each year across 57 global locations. We are the oldest banking institute in the world; the only remaining banking institute in the UK and the only organisation in the world to award the 'Chartered Banker'​ designation to its qualified members. \\Our work as a professional body for bankers complements and supports the work of regulators and banks to enhance and sustain customer-focused, ethical professionalism in Banking.
