The Funding Network NZ

The Funding Network NZ (TFN) is a NZ registered charity and an affiliate of TFN International that works with grassroots sized charities across Aotearoa. In recognition of the increasingly constrained funding environment that many charities are working in, we have recently shifted our strategy away from one-off, in-person crowdfunding events, towards the development of a 4-week capacity development and fundraising programme. This includes a crowdfunding event alongside structured capacity development activity geared towards enhancing the fundraising skills and strategies of our charity partners, in order to diversify their income streams and strengthen their sustainability in the long-term. We promote generosity through accessible, online campaigns that connect new/emerging philanthropists to the real impact of charities and encourage them to start their own giving journeys. Charities also identify their specific pro-bono needs and we work to match these with our donor community.
