TomKats Hospitality established its place in the industry over 30 years ago as a backstage concert caterer at Starwood Amphitheatre, and has since grown into a multifaceted hospitality company. In the 1990s, TomKats revolutionized on-location catering and led the industry for over 26 years with credits such as "30 Rock", Lord of the Rings, What About Bob?, A League of Their Own, and many more, as well as dozens of concerts and festivals such as Bonnaroo, LPGA golf events, and disaster relief catering during Hurricane Katrina. A Nashville-based company, TomKats contributed to the transformation of Music City by saving and restoring historic local brands including relaunching the world famous Loveless Café (USA Today "Top Down-Home Dining Spot" & "10 Great Places to get a Southern-style Biscuit", Southern Living's "Five Must-See Sights in Nashville" & "South's Best Breakfast Spots") the iconic Lower Broadway building Acme Feed & Seed (Thrillist's "Best New Restaurants", 2014; Nashville Scene's "Best Reinvention of a Nashville Icon", 2014 & "Best New Bar", 2015; Restaurant Business's "Top 100 Independent Restaurants", 2016 & 2017), and, most recently Woolworth on 5th (named "Most Historically Important Restaurant in Nashville" by Eater, 2018). Additionally TomKats opened award-winning restaurants such as Saffire in Franklin, Tenn., The Southern Steak & Oyster (Esquire's "Best New Steakhouse", 2012; Restaurant Business's "Top 100 Independent Restaurants", 2015, 2016 & 2017), Southernaire Market, and Fin & Pearl (Nashville Lifestyles' "Best New Restaurant", 2017).
