We believe being venture capital investors means more than just funding promising startups. We founded Touchstone Partners in 2021 because we want to invest our time and experience, as well as capital, to help develop Vietnam's next generation of entrepreneurs. We have a passion for working with founders and helping them realize their visions. We actively seek out those who have a strong social purpose and build company cultures that are the most driven, resilient and inspiring. We fully embrace the idea that investors must be responsible in how they invest and including applying best practices in areas such as environment, social, and corporate governance (ESG). We have developed an approach to ESG that is tailored to the realities of fast-growing startups, and we work with our portfolio companies to implement meaningful metrics and practices into their businesses - it's never too early to integrate elements of an ESG culture in an organization. After we have done our due diligence, crunched the numbers, and gotten to know the founders, we ultimately ask ourselves a key question before we invest: "if this startup succeeds, what difference will it make to Vietnam or the world?"
