The European Union support to trade, industry, growth and rapid market access (TIGARA) is a Project funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in partnership with the Egyptian government. Our mission is to drive trade growth and support Egypt's economic development through a focus on export orientation and enhanced competitiveness of the industrial sector. The project focuses on two main areas: 1. Strengthening the policy ecosystem and business environment, including public institutions and business development services. 2. Supporting value chains and clusters to help Egypt fully benefit from trade opportunities and sustain long-term economic growth. Project Objectives: • Improved industrial policies and regulatory frameworks. • Enhanced governance of the Quality Infrastructure. • Enhanced competitiveness for SMEs in key industries. • Promotion of digital transformation for SMEs to meet market demands.
