United States Football League (USFL)

The new USFL is an American football league that delivers high-quality, innovative professional football played in the spring and early summer. There are eight teams split into two divisions –– North and South. Each team will play a 10-game schedule, with teams in the same division playing each other twice and teams in the other division once. The top two teams in each division will play against each other in the USFL Playoffs followed a week later by the USFL Championship Game. The 2022 USFL regular season kicked off on April 16 and ended with the Birmingham Stallions winning the USFL Championship on July 3. Season 2 begins April 2023. The USFL is the first professional spring football league to complete a successful first season and play a Season 2 in nearly 40 years. We remain United By Football.
