Unlocking ADHD

Empowering ADHDers and their families to Live Life to the Fullest Unlocking ADHD was conceptualised in response to the gap in information about Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) in Singapore. A person who suspects he or she has ADHD, or whose child is newly diagnosed with ADHD may have a challenging time finding information on the condition especially in the local context. US psychiatrist, Dr Edward (Ned) Hallowell, a world authority on ADHD and himself an ADHDer, has described the ADHD brain as a "Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes." At Unlocking ADHD, we would like to support the efforts to strengthen the "bicycle brakes" of ADHDers by sharing information about ADHD, providing access to resources to help equip people to manage their condition and creating supportive communities for ADHDers.
