Unmanned Systems Manufacturers Association

The Unmanned Systems Manufacturers Association was established with the aim to promote real industrial players. The association members would like to be or already are seriously engaged in development, manufacturing and operation of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) in the Czech Republic. At the end of 2006, our Association initiated the establishment of a Work Group under the Czech Ministry of Transport. In cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Defence, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic the Work Group has been concerned in legislative changes of Civil Aviation Act No. 49/2007 Coll. These changes are particularly related to development, manufacturing, and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the territory of the Czech Republic and are in compliance with the European Union requirements. The objectives of the Association are to be granted certification status of managing the unmanned aerial vehicles in the Czech Republic and to become a contact point for UAV in the Czech Republic. The AVBS is a member of Pan-European association UVS International
