UNODC
The UNODC Regional Center for Combating Cybercrime in Doha is the first and only specialized training center of the UNODC established by Global Programme on Cybercrime of the UNODC in partnership with the State of Qatar. It is dedicated to supporting countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond in their efforts to prevent and combat cybercrime and enhance digital security. The Center provides advanced training, technical assistance, and capacity development for law enforcement, judiciary, and other relevant authorities to effectively investigate, prosecute, and respond to cybercrime. It fosters global dialogue and collaboration among governments, institutions, and criminal justice experts to promote coordinated responses to transnational cyber threats. The Center assists countries in strengthening cybercrime legislation, ensuring alignment with international standards, such as the UN Convention against Cybercrime and developing comprehensive legal frameworks. It serves as a knowledge hub, supporting the development and dissemination of research, strategies, and best practices in combating cybercrimes. “Quality. Training. Results.”
