The journey of Utkal Hospital started 6 years ago. Our main objective was to provide quality healthcare to the people of Odisha at affordable rates. The vision to build a world-class multi-speciality hospital incubated from the fact that important health indicator statistics of Odisha are far below the national average. For example, Mortality Rate (IMR) of Odisha is 65 per 1000 births as compared to 39 per 1000 births for the country. Moreover, in a state like Odisha where a large proportion of the population still do not have access to quality healthcare, a lot of non-communicable diseases go undetected. In our endeavor to fill this huge gap of healthcare delivery in the state, we have successfully taken the first steps. Our vision of building a world class multi-specialty hospital where compassion and care come together has already begun. We have successfully commissioned the first phase which includes 70 beds having specialities ranging from Internal Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Onco-surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Urology and Nephrology to services like 24X7 ICU & NICU, Emergency Services and Dialysis.
