VIParts
The idea behind VIParts is to keep vintage items running! Needles/styli for record players to keep on playing records but also a big stock of vinyl and shellac records are available. Next to that there are some (parts for) tape recorders, video systems and tapes, vacuum tubes, DCC players, etc. All about great audio & video herritage and people start to discover that the quality and availability is a very different story then the online world as a lot got digitised and these days compressed more and more making it less and less in quality. We used to watch movies on a big TV screen so why are super HD movies on their small computerised screens? What happened to the experience of music and sounds in our livingrooms with a good stereo as these days it's reallyt not an experience when 2000 songs are on a phone and that's it then... As vinyl records are on it's return it's a prove that the cheap compressed digital world isn't an upgreat over years. It's practical and small but that's it. So we should keep on repairing the vintage components and how? Well instead of throwing away an defective one you can use the good parts to repair the other ones. From 3 defective you can make 2 working and still have spare parts left. That's where VIParts is targeting on. So old defective items have a lot of working parts and using them a lot won't be ending up as trash and that also saves nature as well as no new components need to be produced for them. A lot to win for everybody in many ways! Thank you for reading this and for your interest. Kind regards, René van Gestel. VIParts.
