Weir Investments (Pty) Ltd is a family owned holding company that operates across 3 main areas: Property Investment, Liquid Financial Investment Strategies, and Retail Operations. Retail Operations include motor dealerships, petrol stations, a coffee roastery and luggage retail in South Africa. Having started operations in Grahamstown in 1866, the company has a long history of operations in the Eastern Cape, and has recently begun exploring opportunities to expand operations nationally. Primary operations include: Stonebyres Properties: A new venture focussed on investing and development in the commercial property sector. Sempervest: A new venture focussed on tactical asset allocation to liquid financial investment strategies. Datnis Nissan / Total King William's Town: The operation has been in existence for more than 40 years, delivering reliable service and the exceptional Nissan and Datsun quality vehicles to the region, earning the team the accolade of National Dealer of the Year in 1990, 1991 and 2011. The dealership also supplies UD Trucks and is excited about the re-introduction of Datsun vehicles in 2014.
