Scope The scope of the Review of Financial Economics (RFE) is broad. The Review of Financial Economics publishes original research in all area of financial economics (e.g. corporate finance, investments, financial institutions, international finance, and relation between macroeconomic factors and corporate financial decisions). The RFE will only consider empirical research and is a not a suitable outlet for strictly theoretical papers. History The RFE began in the 1970’s as the Mississippi Valley Journal. The journal title was changed to the Review of Business and Economic Research (RBER) in the early 1980’s. Its current name was adopted in 1994.
