Hungary is a country with a lot of tradition in the wine industry dating hundreds of years. Some wines like Tokaji were amongst the exclusive goods royal families enjoyed in the 19th century. Unfortunately, after WW2 communism struck the country badly, placing them in a poor economical and commercial position. For years they were isolated, until the regime finally left the country in 1989, however the wine tradition remained a well-kept secret. My role is to share the greatness of these quality products with the German Market.
