Women Just Like Me Foundation

Women Just Like Me provides supportive services and resources to at-risk girls, teen moms, and families in disadvantaged communities. Our goal is to decrease teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections by teaching and educating girls on reproductive and sexual health and risk associated with sex. The organization provides parenting skills and education, financial literacy and money management workshops, counseling and mentoring services for girls and women. The organization's office is located in Columbus, Ohio and it was founded by Shammikka Danielle. She became a teen mom at 16. Through Women Just Like Me, Danielle shows girls and young women that it's possible to beat the odds and they don't have to become a victim of their circumstances. She's living proof of that! Danielle is a mother, a business owner, a mentor, and God's daughter that want to guide girls and women to their destiny!
