We are convinced that we can make the world sustainable a better place by recognizing our diversity as the key to greater strength and investing in education and empathy. In our world there are already countless organizations that do good. They uncover child labor, show where overexploitation is practiced, and animals are mistreated. They make sure that food and water reach the poorest countries in the world. They care for war wounds and save refugees from drowning. They see to it that regions where there are no solid educational structures can at least offer simple schooling, and in this way, people can help themselves over time. All these organizations have achieved an incredible amount! But: On the one hand, most organizations rely on donations and their ability to operate is limited as a result. On the other hand, these organizations also depend on political support. Resolutions and bills can change from legislative session to legislative session, which can make long-term planning difficult, even though so much more could be accomplished. Our idea is to build an organization that generates its own funding and positions itself more broadly over time. This is to be used to make good things happen in the world. It should help its employees and supporters to fulfill their own desires or to be able to realize their own self-employment or projects. We would like to use the opportunities available to us to offer more flexibility, for example, through home office or part-time employment models.
