Youth4Nature

Youth4Nature is an international initiative led entirely by youth. It is critical that nature-based solutions are fully and effectively represented in climate policy for both their mitigation and adaptation potential, in a manner that avoids corporate greenwashing and is grounded in science, traditional knowledge, and human rights. We are empowering young people around the world to mobilize for nature and climate and to hold our political leaders to account on both the climate and ecological crises. We do this by: - Advocating for ambitious, evidence-based, and justice-oriented nature-based solutions in climate policy. - Elevating youth voices and amplifying their stories on nature and climate. - Build youth capacity as stewards for a nature for climate movement. Our message is simple: in the search for solutions to the climate crisis, political leaders cannot forget young people, they cannot forget frontline and marginalized communities, and they cannot forget nature.
