- Responsible for managing all opened ended fixed income funds which comprise of ABL Cash Fund, ABL Government Securities Fund, ABL Income Fund and ABL Islamic Income Fund. - Responsible for managing ABL Pension Fund Money Market and Debt Sub Fund, both Conventional and Islamic. - Be an active part of the investment committee. - Prepare and present detailed weekly investment committee presentations which include fixed income return attribution analysis and fixed income fund’s investment strategy. - Responsible for implementing investment strategy in light of the direction given by the investment committee, CIO and Head of Fixed Income. - Responsible for Active trading of T-bills, PIB’s, GOP Ijarah Sukuks, Corporate Sukuks, Term Finance Certificates and Commercial Paper. - Responsible for negotiating with Banks and DFI’s for placement of short term and longer term liquidity. - Responsible for evaluating and presenting investment proposals related to Term Finance Certificates and Sukuks. - Ensuring compliance with both internal (BRMC) and external regulations. - Responsible for conducting regular meetings with Shariah Advisory Board. - Assist in developing both conventional and Islamic fixed income products. - Responsible for maintain strong relationships with Money Market Brokers, Bankers, Primary Dealers and other Stakeholders. - To support business teams in making sales pitch in order increase AUMs. - To support back office including but not limited to fund accounting and settlements for swift execution of transactions. - Prepare monthly Fund Manager Reports and contribute to others quarterly and annual management reports. - Prepare investment committee meeting minutes pertaining to fixed income funds. - To be a team player and be an effective part of the fund management team.
