Transformation - Business Analyst

Development of a probabilistic model to produce market price for a single type of sporting event. This involves the scraping of granular data from several sources and enhance the data. Then via the process of machine learning establishing which occurrences within that event are the most valuable and then the likelihood of those events happening. The result of this model is the price vs the market and allows for someone to take advantage of any highlighted opportunities.

Main responsibilities include; Leading other analysts to ensure a consistent approach across the project Deep dive analysis on data assets with known issues Process analysis and automation Carry out analysis on historic data within a data warehouse and provide feedback on data quality Prove any known assumptions and investigate any implicit assumptions held within the existing extract SQL Validating and reconciling data to ensure its integrity Lead build teams to ensure ETL matches requirement Develop a summary pack for Subject Matter Experts and Senior Stakeholders Liaise with the Senior Leadership team in order to gain approval for Submission

Working as part of the project team within the Regulatory Reporting program. Implementing a reporting solution for the FCA Mortgage Market Review. Main responsibilities include;  Validating and reconciling data to ensure its integrity  Analysis of trends and variances  Reporting of complex data in a concise manner for key stakeholders  Documenting assumptions, decisions and recommendations  Investigating and sourcing data by conducting detailed analysis and mapping  Understanding and interpreting regulatory reporting/ financial reporting requirements to support Business stakeholders and the submission to regulator.  Supporting technology / third party suppliers to design the end to end solution including definition of data extracts and business rules and scenarios for report population  Working with BAU teams to ensure full engagement throughout the project lifecycle and transition into Business as Usual

Data Consultant

Working as part of a team to investigate the benefits of a move to a single Business Intelligence suite and a centralised reporting team. Main responsibilities included; Database Mapping Process Mapping and Improvement Business Case Development Stakeholder Engagement Business Objects Training

In this role I provided Data Quality profiling skills to an existing department within the organisation. Primarily working with Trillium to develop business rules that align to regulatory requirements, I assisted in providing reassurance of Data Quality Standards of regulatory submissions. As part of this role I developed an automated Data Quality Scorecard. The primary purpose of this scorecard is to convey the results of the Data Quality Analysis to the business in a clear and consistent manner. Delivery of the Data Quality Scorecard is a core part of the Data Management Framework and will provide real and tangible benefits to the organisation going forward.

My main focus within my role at PASMA is to guide the organisation through its two year project to implement a holistic Data Governance Framework. The aim of this project is to better manage and utilize the data currently within PASMA and explore new ideas to expand on the way the organisation approaches its data. A brief summary of the tasks associated with my role: -Conduct a Process first Audit -Map the Data life cycle -Organisation wide process auditing -Business process management -Develop a scalable Data Governance Framework -Implement an ECM solution integrated with SharePoint -Prepare data sources for secure use by multinational remote workers -Develop a Retention policy for all data across the organisation -Establish an ongoing review process for business critical data -Change Management
