Adam Young

Adam Young launched Event Tickets Center in 2005 with a $100 startup investment and one employee. Under his leadership, the company has reached the upper-echelon of online ticket resellers, serving more than three million customers and 9-figure annual sales revenue. Building on lean business practices learned the manufacturing industry, Young and his team grow the company strategically by setting new business goals on a yearly, weekly and sometimes daily basis. As each goal is met, it becomes the company’s new baseline from which to grow. In the dynamic, highly competitive ticketing industry, Young has kept Event Tickets Center turning a profit during ups and downs in the broader economy. His strategy of reinvesting profits in calculated risks has grown the company without ever relying on debt to fund expansion or operations. With experience dating back to the early days of pay-per-click advertising and Google AdWords, Young leads a team of expert search marketers. Young was among the first members of Bing Network Product Advisory Group, where he is often testing search marketing products before their public release and providing Microsoft with feedback from the front lines of PPC marketing.
