With my Vision is to eradicate Poverty and significantly make an impact in the Insurance Industry in Africa, I am now designing - 1. MicroInsurance solutions by use of technology as a channel to reach the masses. The major hindrance to insurance is Cost, Understanding of Insurance, Accessibility and Trust. I have designed solutions to tackle this problems and bring insurance closer and more accessible to the people who need it most. 2. Developing and Strengthening MicroInsurance, Bancassurance and Mass-Market Insurance capacity to scale for Insurance Companies and Customers e.g. (Micro Finance Institutions, Banks and Telecoms) by:- a) Designing Suitable MicroInsurance products, b) Establishment of a workable operations model to handle Mass-Market insurance products, c) Deployment of the Technical capacity to handle these MicroInsurance products and reduce the Administrative costs overall to Insurance Companies who have a strategy to run MicroInsurance products in Africa. d) Creation of Marketing and Engagement strategies to ensure sustainability of these MicroInsurance product.

Created the MicroInsurance solutions by 1. Partner Relationship Management - Establish and maintain excellent communication with existing front office partners and insurers. Capitalize on opportunities and address operational weaknesses with urgency and focus 2. Business Development - Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for new partnerships with banks, mobile, NGOs, and other aggregators in the low-income sector. Develop and execute country-level strategy and plan for business revenue growth 3. Financial Management - Develop a profitable micro insurance business, governed by outreach, revenue and profit targets agreed between Senior Management Develop business plans for long term growth and profitability of the MicroEnsure Kenya business 4. Operational Delivery - Work with the operations teams, locally and globally, to maintain effective, efficient operations to handle processing of business and reporting of results 5. Market Awareness - Ensure a deep understanding of the insurance needs of the low-income market within MicroEnsure Kenya 6. Public Relations - Promote visibility to the market that MicroEnsure serves that evokes the image of compassion, ethics and integrity, projecting the values and image of the organization

1. Profit testing of all existing and new products. 2. Design and pricing (Product development) of new Life business products. 3. Implementation and training of new products to marketers and agents. 4. Filling and defending new products with IRA for approval 5. Market research and development of existing and new products giving a clear comparison between our products and the market. 6. Calculation of the companies actuarial liability and support life business valuations

The Jubilee Insurance Company of Kenya limited is the leading composite insurance company with operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius, Rwanda and Burundi The company has embarked on an Africa expansion strategy and Hub and spoke model is key in driving this initiative. My role as the Supervisor of the Customer Services Group has the following responsibilities: 1. Manage and set-up the Hub and Spoke model within the new upcoming regions (Mauritius, Rwanda and Burundi) and ensure each regional office is fully equipped and is running smoothly. 2. Documentation of workflow processes across all lines of business and ensure Turn Around Times (TAT’S) are in place (with 99% compliance) and design resolutions as to when TAT’s are not being met 3. Training on workflow processes to new staff in upcoming regions and offer full support until regional offices are established. 4. Obtain feedback from business units at the Hub and Spoke on a regular basis and incorporate into weekly Dashboard reports to directors 5. Monitor and report any challenges experienced with the hub and spoke model with a view of finding a solution.

1. Design and implementation of new projects including research into new products needed in the market. I am currently managing a Barclays Market research under a banc assurance project with the aim of deducing the insurance needs of their Premier, SME and Prestige clients. 2. Monitor and analyze business growth for all lines of business (Life, Medical business, General business & Pensions business) including analysis of industry statistics and management of the market research and intelligence team. 3. Analysis of intermediary and direct account performance for all lines of business and provision of reports (on profitability) on a quarterly basis. 4. Coordination of Management committees, board subcommittee meetings and preparation of reports including: i. Investment Committee ii. Claims Review committee iii. Business Continuity Plan iv. Regional Monthly Management Meetings
