Reporting to Plant Manager Direct reports: 8 Shift Managers, 4 Engineers Indirect reports: 135 blue collars Responsibilities: • Operations metrics: OTD, MO’s open &past due date, WIP (work in progress), Plant utilization and Equipment utilization, based on daily meetings with the direct reports. • Finance metrics: Revenue, Gross profit, Gross Margin, Cash flow, monthly with management team. • Materials metrics: COGS (costs of goods sold), Inventory value and Turns, Excess, Cycle count accuracy, part of the monthly asset meetings. • Quality metrics: Yield, Scrap, Quarantine and CAR’s status (corrective action request), involving manufacturing team in daily meetings.
Reporting to Plant Manager Direct reports: 6 Engineers, 1 Assistant Indirect reports: 12 white collars Responsibilities: • Performs a wide range of Continuous Improvement activities including but not limited to planning/developing/documenting Kaizen events, performing 5S audits, process mapping, Kanban , root cause analysis, coordination of all department and other support areas during Kaizen workshops. Achievements / Contributions: • Productivity increase overall, in manufacturing, by 25% • Quality First Pass increase by 15% • 5S audit rate reached after 2 years at 75% ,confirmed by Kaizen Institute Romania
Reporting to Site Manager Direct reports: 2 Process Engineers, 6 Line Leaders Indirect reports: 52 blue collars Responsibilities: • Commissioning the production lines for the new site location in Grange Castle, with the breakdown at the engineering level (data acquisition, full integration of variable type of automation on the bakery lines) • Improve interfaces with distribution to expedite faster the products and to react quicker to customer demands. • Responsible for planning, reviewing and developing production procedures and personnel Achievements / Contributions: • Increase of the OEE factor to 70% trough down time analysis • Rapidly turn around production efficiency figure from 62%, in the commissioning period, to 87%.
Reporting to General Manager Direct reports: 2 Process Engineers, 2 Maintenance Technicians Responsibilities: • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing techniques for the new product introduction: Kaizen, Build to order and PDP (policy deployment plan) • Monitor the SQDIP performance across manufacturing and follow up actions plan Achievements / Contributions: • Lead Kaizen event for 4 production lines improving productivity, Space floor and Flexibility to demand for the new customer production Line (Iveco ultipor and ultipleat filtration).
Reporting to General Manager Direct reports: 3 Production Managers, 4 Technical Engineers, 2 Data System Administrator Indirect reports: 185 blue collars Responsibilities: • Organize and coordinate the transfer of 9 (nine) customer products with 6 production lines from their sites or Pemstar sites, to low cost region without affecting Quality and On Time Delivery, within last 3 years. Some of the customers to be mentioned: Fluke (industrial measurement devices), Invensys (mechanical pressure control units), Siemens Audiologic (wireless hearing aid devices), Raytek (infrared temperature devices), LEM (power analyzers), Given Imaging ( RF medical vision instruments), Assembleon (surface mount twin feeders). • Successfully implement manufacturing techniques: 5S and SQDIP (safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity) chart indicators.
