Established in 1932, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply is the largest professional organisation supporting the procurement and supply profession in the world with a community of over 120,000 in more than 150 countries. We are a not-for-profit organisation and also a registered charity. Part of our activities include providing scholarships for students unable to fund their own education. We are an educational awarding body and the only procurement and supply body to provide recognised qualifications to degree level. Annually, over 80,000 people take CIPS examinations globally. Our qualifications are mandated by several sovereign governments, multi-lateral agencies and multinational companies. We also provide support and advisory services to businesses in the areas of business performance, compliance, efficiency and capability development.
