Areas of responsibilities:- * Business development role through marketing of investment products and services (local and cross-border investment strategies) to existing and prospective clients that fall under the segment of institutions, government-linked companies, public sector agencies, statutory bodies and foundations. Area of coverage also includes corporates, financial institutions and insurance/takaful sectors; * Develop and execute business strategy to grow assets under management (conventional and Shariah-compliant discretionary investment mandates and unit trust funds) through business relationship building with existing and new clients as well as with the investment consultants; * Managing a team of business development officers to further increase the profile of the Company and enhancing sales and service delivery efficiency. The team’s assets under management (AUM) currently stood at about RM10 billion; * Managing relationship with other inter-departmental and inter-division heads within the RHB Banking Group (e.g. Corporate Banking, Client Coverage Team of Wholesale Banking, Group Risk Management, Compliance and Legal) to ensure the clients’ interests are synchronize with the Company’s interests; * Actively involved in the new digital investment platform currently being developed by the Company.
