With this organization, I provided comprehensive leadership to procurement teams tasked with facilitating execution of procurement activities in two programs: • BAE Systems Training & Naval Program [ LOA1(BAE HAWK Engines), LOA3(Training Aircrafts), LOA14(Mine Hunters) & HAWK In kingdom Final Assembly (IKFA) ] • BAE Systems Tornado Fighter Jet support program ( LOA7) For the Training & Naval Program I was managing a procurement teams in three locations (Riyadh, Tabuk and Jubail) supporting different fleets (Cirrus SR22, Pilatus PC-21, HAWK, BAE Mine Hunters and the simulators) along with supporting the Cadets in the Air Academy with necessary equipments and clothing to conduct training programs. For the Tornado Fighter Jet Program comprised of four major suppliers, including Panavia and its Partner Companies, AACC, AEC and Leonardo Sky Shadow RADAR Jamming Pod. I structured and hired a procurement resources with a clear term of references to achieve the annual Function and Project targets whilst ensuring quality control and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures and export control. Some of my most significant contributions include: • Succeeded in building a highly effective procurement team that enhanced operational turnaround time in Tornado K-70 Program by approximately 75%. • Negotiated and signed Suppliers Multi-Million contracts (Pilatus CHF150M /Rolls Royce £80M/ BAEMO £65M and others) • Promoted to position after serving successful tenure as Procurement Manager of Training & Naval Program. • Led the local content activities to transfer Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)capabilities to local repair shops. • Led the Initiatives along with the Panavia Partner Companies (PPC's) to enhance the turnaround time (TAT)
Within this capacity, I guided administration of Multi-year Multi-Million dollars Complex contracts with Royal Saudi Air Force, platforms (C-130, BELL205/212/412 Helicopters, CASA CN-235, F-15, AWACS, GSE). Entrusted to approve new supplier agreements and facilitate annual revaluation process. Prepared and delivered company meetings in conjunction with RSAF Airbases/HQ on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. I then, prepared annual budget and monitored departments expenditures for adherence to forecasted projections. Some of my proudest achievements include: • Gained significant experience managing administration of multi-million SAR contracts. • Delivered more than 1 Billion SAR worth of materials and technical services in support of Royal Saudi Air Force Aircraft Fleets. • Led a team to bid and won a tender to support F-15 Fighter Jet with a value of 2 Billion SAR • Hired as Assistant Logistics Specialist and was promoted, successively, to Procurement Specialist, Senior Procurement Specialist, and Project Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager before assuming Director of operations role overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, managing budgets, Co-approve Supplier payments / Payroll / operating expenses, developing strategic plans and communicating business goals.
