Designed a benchmark artefact consisting of surface roughness, lattice structures, feature accuracy and movable components. The purpose of the artefact was to demonstrate the AM capability and to benchmark the newly developed alloys. Supervised by Dr Fiona Schulz.
• Designed and optimized parts for AM • Maintained quality control of AM produced parts (SLS, FDM, SLA and Binder jetting) • Performed R&D to develop new products and improve quality of AM parts • Part of a team that worked on digitizing parts for Digital Inventory Solutions • Worked on build preparation for SLS (EOS P396), FDM (Ultimaker, BigRep, Builder Xtreme 1000), SLA (Formlabs Form 2) and commencing the print on machines
• Supported research and development team • Maintained documentation of designs, test results and operation instructions for prototypes • Provided CAD support, design, assembly, software refinement and testing of prototypes
