Access to clean energy presents a serious challenge for those living in rural communities that are not connected to the national grid. This pre-disposes inhabitants of such communities to other available sources of energy, such as wood, lantern, candles, generator, etc. The need then arises for such sources of energy for domestic uses without simultaneously degrading the ecological equilibrium of the environment. We propose a low cost, reliable and environmental friendly solution to this serious problem. This solution is based on the latest innovation of photovoltaic. ACHIEVEMENTS: We designed for office a simple solar solution characterized by low consumption electrical items. It has been tailored to an electrical need of 1.260 of DC power and 5180 of WH energy. This office solution can be duplicated and tailored to the need of the consumer. Participate in Renewable Energy advocacy in Nigeria:I have wrote an article during the Nigeria Energy and Power Summit, Abuja, November 20011 on "Climate change an opportunity for renewable energy: Case of the Federal Republic of Nigeria". As consultant for Schneider Electric Nigeria, I have help Asore Community's organised themselves into a common interest in order to make the Micro solar of grid system offered to them by Schneider be more profitable and sustainable. To achieve this organisation I have to train them during a seminar on capacity building on Micro Solar System Management.
