Research & Development of new techniques in fabric manipulation, surface ornamentation, silhouettes, fabric sourcing and pattern development for new season. 2. Documentation of sampling styles for future orders. 3. Meeting the buyers and proposing the collection for orders. 4. Styling and photoshoot of the collection before sending it to the buyer. 5. Costing of the style once it is made and re-costing of the required style by tweaking the design in order to meet the target price of the buyer. 6. Color head of the urban outfitters. Proposes unique color names & color options to the buyers for each style that they order and arranges same for the production merchants to proceed further. 7. Organizing and maintaining record of styles in showroom, that has been made till date for urban outfitters as inspiration and to design for the new season. 8. Leads the complete sampling team from merchant to masters and tailors along with the HOD. 9. Spec the styles with technician while sending the collection to the buyer. Re-spec it if there're any buyer fit comments. 10. Overlooks the graphic designer to approve the color and sizing of the print. 11. Organizes the curriculum events at the company for the betterment and refreshment of the employees.
