OFC operates its ministry at the Fish & Cross Ranch (F&CR) in Yampa, Colorado - a 100-year old, working cattle ranch, deeply rooted in the cowboy way of life and the beauty of the West. F&CR is family-owned and operated, and dedicated to the purpose of bringing and keeping families together. After purchasing the property in 2005, the owners set out to establish a not-for-profit charity at the ranch, wholly focused on promoting the preservation of a Christian and Family Heritage. This was the inception of Outfitters for Christ. The OFC “Life Journey” curriculum has been developed over the last five years through cooperation with churches and Christian organizations at youth camps, focus groups and retreats held at the ranch, as well as long-term discipleship programs.
