Responsibilities: - Secondment to the Corporate Finance Division of NM Rothschild & Sons Limited in London - Advised the Departments of Public Works and Correctional Services on the proposed construction of 4 prisons on a BOT - Advised a UK plc on the trade sale of its South African subsidiary - Advised the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on the proposed acquisition of an Israeli company by one of its subsidiaries

Responsibilities: - Advised the Komati Basin Water Authority on the funding aspects of the R1 billion Maguga Dam project. This involved primarily the structuring of a funding package for the joint sponsors of the project (i.e. the Government of South Africa and the Kingdom of Swaziland) - Assisted in the preparation of the submission to the Regulator by the Airports Company of South Africa and the Air Traffic and Navigation Services company - Managed audits of various clients including Sun International, Real Africa and Banque Indosuez
