Conducting Wind Resource Assessments for RES projects in Northern Europe.
Established the wind resource and energy yield assessment capability for Dulas. Conducted detailed energy yield assessments including wind flow modelling, wake modelling, uncertainty analysis and site classification (and continually evolving assessment scope) for commercial onshore wind farms using GH WindFarmer, WindPRO (EMD certified user), WAsP, ArcGis and Windographer. Conducted site visits and reported on suitability for setting up masts from an energy yield perspective. Client servicing, technical support and account management: Monthly reports and analysis for various mast installations and prospecting for new clients. Conducted commercial research to benchmark industry best practices and analysis relating to wind resource assessment and energy yield prediction. Developed a Monte Carlo tool for Uncertainty Analysis in Energy Yield Prediction for Wind Farms. Used Crystal Ball for the development of the tool and validated it using production data from two wind farms. Understood the basis of uncertainty quantification and energy yield assessment process.
