Medical Kiwi is a pioneering medicinal research and nutraceutical wellbeing company. It exists to enable those suffering from illness, seeking alternative pain management and improved wellbeing to have access to safe, effective, affordable, high-quality medicinal and wellbeing cannabis products. With recent law changes in New Zealand coming into effect, I co-founded the company in December 2018 to realise the global opportunities for a New Zealand-produced and branded medicinal product and help change the lives of sufferers in our local community and wider. After successfully completing seed funding in early 2019, we secured an eight-hectare greenfield site in Nelson, New Zealand and are raising further funds to build a state-of-the-art research, cultivation and processing facility on the site in mid 2020. The facility will be designed to produce up to 40 tonnes of dried product per annum, valued today at between USD$105 to $130 million.
