- Responsible for the purchase of all Bathroom Products for the Bedford branch of Kartell UK Ltd. - Using current stock levels & sales data to forecast future sales to ensure the business always has stock - Placing both local & international orders and building relationships with suppliers to remain updated on the status of our orders. - Took ownership of the organisation of annual stock take. Creating a plan and monitoring the progress over the course of the stock take, including promptly addressing any issues that arose. - Monitoring stock in external warehouses, liaising with Warehouse & Transport departments to organise transfers when required to maintain an appropriate stock level at the main site. As well as, making sure the system accurately reflects the movements done between warehouses. - Line Manager to the Stock Controller. - Responsible for the training and management of the Stock Controller. Able to advise and make judgement calls on any issues that arise when needed.

- Responsible for the stock control of all products for the Bedford Branch. - Investigating and correcting discrepancies in the stock levels. Making decisions on stock movements & writing off stock when applicable. - Organising and conducting stock takes on product ranges/warehouses when necessary. - Taking initiative over quarantined stock that has been neglected for years to separate the stock into different categories, which allows for them to be moved from the warehouse to free up space. - Took ownership over the warehouse locations in a company-wide project to prepare for the move to a new ERP system. Splitting singular locations into multiple to assign specifically as the pick face for a product whilst taking into consideration the warehouse operatives by trying to make the process as straight forward as possible.

- Responsible for the purchase and stock control of all Bathroom Products for the Bedford branch of Kartell, this required making well-informed decisions that had a real effect on the business. - Took ownership of the stock levels in external warehouses. Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport departments to organise weekly transfers for stock between these external warehouses and the main site. Alongside this, I kept the system in line with these transfers to ensure the stock levels were always accurate. - Analysing the current stock, as well as forecasting the sales over the following months, to ensure the business always had appropriate levels of stock. - Placing international orders and building relationships with suppliers to remain updated on the status of our orders. - Resolving internal stock issues, running stock reports and communicating issues to all staff. - Took initiative to benefit the business by preparing lists of inactive products and distributing them to sales managers so that we could use the warehouse space to accommodate more active products. - Gained experience in time management due to needing to place orders, organise transfers and monitor stock, whilst continually relaying information to other departments.

- Created and maintained an excel spreadsheet containing all the company’s employee uniform orders and recording distribution. - Started the groundwork on a company wide Health & Safety project. - Assisted with the organisation of the company’s corporate Golf Day.

Accounts Payable: - Reconciled half year supplier statements to ensure all invoices were received for the VAT return. - Processing invoices using purchase orders and manual coding. - Generated and compared invoices through the intercompany account by ensuring that all products dispatched were invoiced accordingly. - Matched supplier invoices to goods received through the system and processing the invoices for payment whilst using my analytical skills to identify any discrepancies and noting them for investigation. - Responsible for the Accounts Payable inbox and taking customer calls. Credit Control: - Took credit card payments from both factored and direct customers using SagePay, then releasing the orders corresponding to the payments to ensure they were delivered on time. Accounts: - Completing the company banking of cheques and posting the cheques onto the company ledger.
